🧠❤️ What Is Your Soul?
Most people have heard the word “soul” — but few stop to think about what it really is.
The Bible reveals that you are made of three parts:
Spirit
The eternal part of you that connects with God
Soul
your mind, will, emotions, personality — the “real you”
Body
your physical shell, your temporary earth-suit
Your soul and spirit are deeply connected, and often spoken of together in Scripture. In many ways, when the Bible talks about your “soul” or “heart,” it’s collectively referring to the eternal, unseen part of you — your identity, your inner being.
You are not just a body that has a soul.
You are a soul that lives in a body.
And here’s the most important truth:
➡️ Your soul is eternal.
It will live forever — the only question is where and with whom.
But here’s the part we often miss:
We all “give,” “sell,” or “broker” our soul to something or someone—
whether it’s success, money, pleasure, self, or God.
Sometimes this exchange is intentional. Often, it’s not. But it’s always happening.
That’s why this question is so critical:
Who—or what—have you brokered your soul to?
Because eternity is on the line.
The Soul Broker Perspective
As a professional Business Broker, I’ve watched countless business owners try to sell what they’ve built—often unaware that their heart, soul, and identity is fully tied up in it. In other words, their worth, their purpose, even their eternity has been wrapped around what they own.
But the truth is: You were never meant to find your identity in your work – or fill in the blank.
You were made to find your identity in God through Christ.
That’s why Soul Broker exists.
To raise the most important question of your life:
💬 Who—or what—owns you — i.e., owns your soul?
We Are All Worshipping Something
Whether you’re a CEO, student, parent, or retiree… you were created to worship.
The only question is: What are you worshipping? In other words, what have you put in first place in your life?
Have you placed your ultimate first-love (top priority) and trust in God and His Word—or something else?
This ministry is for:
- The unbeliever who’s never considered eternity
- The Christian who’s let success, self, or security take the throne
- Anyone ready to examine the true owner of their soul
🔍 Soul Check: A Quick Heart Exam
Before you click away, take a moment. Again, this is your soul we’re talking about. Let’s pause and reflect.
Ask yourself:
What do I think about the most
(e.g., self, money, success, relationships, entertainment… or is it God?)What am I most afraid to lose
(e.g., my job, reputation, comfort, money, relationships, sense of control — or even the pleasures of hidden addictions and secret sins)?What do I rely on for peace, security, or identity
(e.g., a bank account, a person, a title, habits, or even hidden addictions)?Is God truly first in my life—or just a part of it?
Have I ever fully surrendered my soul to God through Jesus?
Your answers might reveal more than you expect. Don’t rush past this moment—this could be the turning point.
🙏 A Prayer of Salvation or Recommitment
Whether you’ve never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior—or you feel like you’ve drifted—God’s arms are open. Now is the time to return to the One who gave everything for your soul.
Pray this from your heart:
“Dear God, I realize I’ve been placing my trust in things that don’t last. I’ve tried to find purpose, success, and peace outside of You. But today, I see the truth. I don’t want to gain the world and lose my soul.
I believe You sent Your Son, Jesus, to die for my sins and rise again. I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I surrender my life to You. Please forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new.
From this day forward, I put You first. Help me live for You and not for this world. Thank You for saving me. Thank You for loving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
